Why did you choose to pursue home staging and redesign?

We believe that homes speak, even if they never utter a word. There is nothing quite like the feeling of stepping into a home and experiencing a sense of relief and peace. Through design, we seek to create that feeling for our clients and for prospective buyers. We want the homes that we transform to be spaces that whisper, “Stay. You belong here.”

What inspired the name Elizabeth Mae Interiors?

In order to answer this question, we have to travel back in time. Our childhood and the people that raised us have had a tremendous impact on who we are and why we created this business. When we were young, home was our sanctuary. Our parents are not designers by trade, but you would never know that based on their home.

We both have vivid memories of coming home to a wall demolished in order to rework a space, or doodles on napkins reimagining the kitchen layout. Our parents could turn any room into the most welcoming space through color, texture, and a lot of creativity. Our father would build, our mother would decorate, and the finished designs were nothing short of extraordinary. They thought through every detail for our family and our guests. Those things created a wonderful space, but that was all it was if you stripped away the people inside. Home was our sanctuary not just because it was beautifully designed, but because we knew we belonged there. Everyone that entered knew they belonged because of how our parents treated the people inside the walls they built. They have been our inspiration to create and design beautiful spaces, but they are also our inspiration for how we do business. We want our clients to know they belong, are valued, and will be treated with integrity when working with us. Because of our parents continued inspiration to us, we decided to use the names they gave us to name Elizabeth Mae Interiors. We like to think of it as our way of honoring their incredible contribution to who we are and what we do.

What do you want your business to be known for?

Our focus is on great design as well as the relationships that we foster with the people entrusting us to stage and redesign their spaces. Based on this, we work our hardest to deliver exceptional designs, transparent communication, and a relational business focus based on integrity and respect rather than a transaction. That is what we want Elizabeth Mae Interiors to be known for.
